We had a wonderful stay at this place in the quiet village of Asthall, just 3 miles from Burford. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by gorgeous countryside and picturesque views. The staff were all very cheery and attentive, providing us with excellent service throughout our stay. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The room was well-equipped with amenities such as ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, allowing us to stay connected. The garden area was beautifully maintained and provided a great space to relax and enjoy our drinks. we had a fantastic experience here and would highly recommend it to families looking for a peaceful getaway.
We did feel that some of the staff could benefit from better training in hospitality and customer service. However, this minor issue did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the hotel.
